Porthole extruded Tube

Characteristics
Ideal for low or medium strength applications where internal pressure is not critical. High standards of dimensional tolerances are achieved.
Manufacturing technique
Produced from a solid billet, which is forced under pressure through a composite die tool. The first stage divides the metal into two or more separate streams which flow over the bridges to be pressure welded together and emerge as an extruded tube between the die and a central mandrel.
